Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the AIEduTech.io platform, website, and associated services provided by AIEduTech.io ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using AIEduTech.io whether as an institution, teacher, student, or visitor you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you are acting on behalf of an institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind the institution to these Terms.

2. Use of the Platform

AIEduTech.io grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform solely for educational purposes within your institution, subject to these Terms and your service agreement.

The platform is intended exclusively for lawful educational use. Any other use is prohibited.

3. Institution Responsibilities

Institutions that deploy AIEduTech.io are responsible for:

• Creating and managing user accounts for their students and teachers
• Ensuring appropriate parental/guardian consent for minor students where required by law
• Maintaining the physical security of the AI hardware installed on their premises
• Providing accurate and lawfully obtained content for AI training
• Ensuring all users comply with these Terms
• Promptly notifying us of any suspected security breaches

4. Intellectual Property

All software, AI models, platform architecture, user interface designs, and branding associated with AIEduTech.io are the exclusive intellectual property of AIEduTech.io. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in our platform.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of our software or AI models.

5. Content Uploaded by Institutions

Content uploaded by institutions (syllabi, notes, question papers) remains the intellectual property of the institution. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and index that content solely for the purpose of operating your institution's AI tutor. We do not use your content to train AI models for any other institution or for our own commercial purposes.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

• Use the platform to generate, distribute, or access illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures or access controls
• Share account credentials with unauthorised individuals
• Use the platform to harass, bully, or harm other users
• Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the platform without written consent
• Use automated tools to scrape, extract, or exploit data from the platform

7. Disclaimers

The AIEduTech.io platform is provided "as is" and "as available". While we strive for accuracy, the AI tutor's responses are generated by a language model and may occasionally contain errors. We do not guarantee that:

• The platform will be error-free or uninterrupted
• AI-generated content is always accurate, complete, or up-to-date
• The platform will meet every specific educational requirement

AI tutor responses should supplement not replace qualified human teachers and educational judgment.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, AIEduTech.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to any institution shall not exceed the fees paid by that institution in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AIEduTech.io and its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice as specified in the service contract. Upon termination, we will decommission the platform and assist with data export. Continued use of the platform after notice constitutes a breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
