AIEduTech.io is an AI-powered educational technology platform designed for schools, coaching institutes, degree colleges, and universities. We provide on-premises AI tutoring systems deployed within partner institutions' own infrastructure. Our registered office is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 Institution Data

When an institution onboards with AIEduTech.io, we collect:

• Institution name, address, and contact details
• Names and email addresses of administrative contacts
• Academic structure data (departments, classes, subjects)
• Educational content uploaded for AI training (syllabi, notes, question papers)

2.2 User Data

User accounts (students, teachers, admins) are created by the institution. We collect:

• Name and email address
• Role (student, teacher, admin)
• Class and department assignment
• Login activity logs

2.3 Usage Data

While using the platform, the following is recorded locally on your institution's hardware:

• Chat sessions with the AI tutor (stored on-premises only)
• Quiz attempts and scores
• Content views and session duration
• Feature usage patterns (aggregated, anonymised)

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data exclusively for:

• Providing and operating the AIEduTech.io platform
• Setting up and maintaining your institution's AI tutor
• Providing technical support and maintenance
• Sending important service notifications and updates
• Improving platform reliability and performance (using aggregated, anonymised telemetry only)

We do not use your data for advertising, data monetisation, or AI model training on behalf of other clients.

4. On-Premises Architecture & Data Residency

A core principle of AIEduTech.io is that all AI processing and student conversation data remains within your institution's physical premises:

• The AI compute hardware is installed inside your campus all model inference happens locally
• Student chat histories, quiz results, and learning data are stored on your servers
• We access your systems only through a secure, audited management channel for maintenance purposes
• The platform can operate on your campus network even without an active internet connection

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your institution's or students' data with any third parties, except:

• Service providers: Infrastructure tools required to deliver our management service (bound by strict data processing agreements)
• Legal obligations: If required by Indian law or a valid court order

We never share data with advertisers, data brokers, or AI training pipelines operated by third parties.

6. Data Retention

Institution-level account data is retained for the duration of your service agreement plus 12 months. Upon termination, all data is deleted within 30 days upon request. Student data stored on-premises is under your institution's full control and can be deleted at any time from the admin panel.

7. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian data protection law, institutions and users have the right to:

• Access data we hold about them
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of their data
• Object to certain processing activities
• Export their data in a machine-readable format

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, role-based access control, and regular security audits. Our management access to your systems is protected by multi-factor authentication and full audit logging.

9. Children's Privacy

AIEduTech.io is designed for use in educational institutions, including schools where students may be minors. All student accounts are created and managed by the institution under their own safeguarding policies. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors outside of the institutional framework. Institutions are responsible for obtaining appropriate parental consent where required by applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify partner institutions by email at least 30 days before any material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
